Join the Community Foundation of Southern Maryland at The Greater Waldorf Jaycees Center on November 2, at 11:30 am for its philanthropy day luncheon and presentation of actress Mary Ann Jung’s acclaimed tribute show to Julia Child.

A chef and television star, Julia Child is often credited with transforming the way mid-twentieth century Americans regarded food and cooking. In this costumed, living-history performance, Mary Ann portrays Child, sharing details about her life as diplomat, student at Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School and internationally known chef and television personality.

Mary Ann Jung has been a lead actress and Director of Renaissance History and Shakespearean Language at the Maryland Renaissance Festival for over twenty-five years. She is a Smithsonian scholar and performer and has appeared on CNN, the Today Show, and Good Morning America.
